Had a blast with friends! We enjoyed stunning views at St Andrews and explored the lovely countryside at Falkland. The gym was solid, and the food was top-notch, especially the high tea. You'll love the cozy atmosphere!
The hotel's appearance felt a bit tired inside, but service made up for it.

The hotel was a good base for exploring the local area, close to attractions like the parish church and Falkland Palace. The room was clean and comfortable enough for a family stay, and the pool kept the kids entertained. I did notice that some of the communal areas seemed a bit worn and dated, which detracted from the overall ambiance.

The hotel offers a solid family-friendly setup with ample amenities in the Standard Double Room, featuring a stocked tea and coffee tray suitable for multiple cups. The freshly prepared Scottish breakfast hits the mark, and the new gym is a standout with top-end machines that surprised me in a pleasant way.
The noise from creaking floorboards is relentless, making any movement feel like an unwanted spectacle for others. The building is definitely in need of maintenance. common areas look dated, and it feels rundown overall. the bathrooms could use an update, as their condition doesn’t match the expectations set by the rest of the facilities. It feels like a place that’s stuck in time without much effort to keep it vibrant and inviting.

The atmosphere at Lomond Hills was quite charming, but the exterior could use some TLC. The food was wonderful, especially the salmon, and the staff were friendly. Unfortunately, breakfast service took far too long, leaving us feeling somewhat dissatisfied. it was a mixed experience that's worth a visit.

I had a lovely time at Lomond Hills Hotel. The high tea really stood out. enjoyable tea, a good scone, and delicious cake made it a treat for our family. Staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. The cozy atmosphere added to our experience. The kids made good use of the pool, which was a hit. the hotel itself shows signs of aging. The communal areas feel dated, with tired decor and a neglected exterior. Some plumbing issues in the bathroom needed attention, too. Noise travels easily between rooms, which disrupted the peace at times. It seems like the hotel might be in the process of refreshing things based on the workers I saw carrying in supplies.
